The duo dated one another for years before the marriage. They got engaged in 2013 and on March 2014, they exchanged vows on a beach theme wedding.
Just after the nuptials, Sara gushed everything about her wedding in her show (The Talk). She explained to the audience,
"It definitely feels different, It feels more different than you expect. You feel like you’re part of this institution and it’s official, and, oh, I better not mess this up."
Moreover, she added,
"You feel safer in a way and you feel like you’ve really committed and it’s not about, can I deal with this or not deal with it. It becomes, how will we deal with our relationship together?”
They inspired their millions of fans through their compatibility and bonding.
The couple has a child together
The pair is enjoying their new lives as the parents after the birth of their son.
On February 28, 2015, Gilbert gave a birth to their son Rhodes Emilio Gilbert Perry.

Sara Gilbert's past affairs
Prior to Linda, Sara was in a relationship with television producer Allison Adler with whom she has two children, a son named Levi Hank and a daughter Sawyer Jane.
For many years, Gilbert remained shut about her sexuality and tried to accept her marriage but in July 2010, as she prepared to launch her talk show, The Talk, she confirmed that she was a lesbian.
After a year of show launch, she ended her ten-year-long married life with her husband and divorced him.
As a teenager, Gilbert dated her on-screen boyfriend, Roseanne co-star Johnny Galecki with whom she later worked in The Big Bang Theory along with Jim parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Mayim Bialik, Laura Spencer, Melissa Rauch and many others.
