Baba Ali is an Iranian-born American games developer, businessman, actor, and comedian. He grew up in the irreligious household. He started his career by working in the IT field and later co-founded the Ummah Films with Mahdi Ahmad. Baba Ali gained his fame and prominence after releasing several web series such as The Reminder Series and Ask Baba Ali. He also appeared on the Islam Channel.
Baba Ali designed "Mecca to Medina", a board game about trading and negotiating with an Islamic-theme that can be played by all religions, in 2006. Later, he designed "Kalimaat", a video game about common knowledge and memory, which was also a great success. Baba founded Muslim matrimonial website, Half Our Deen, in 2010. He has not revealed anything about his personal life and relationships.
