An American television news correspondent who is better known as the host of MSNBC news program Jansing and Company. She started her professional career at the radio station, WIPS and is a former general assignment reporter for WNYT television in Albany.
Early Life and Education
Jansing was born on January 30, 1957, in Fairport Harbor, Ohio, U.S. She is the youngest of twelve daughters of Joseph and Tilly Kapostasy. She is an American and is of Hungarian and Slovak descent.
Jansing graduated with a bachelor degree in broadcast journalism from the Otterbein College in 1978.
Career
Jansing started her professional career from radio station WIPS in Ticonderoga, NY. She is also former general assignment reporter for WNYT television in Albany. She worked for WNYT television for more than one and half decade.
After that, she left the channel and anchored and reported for MSNBC, where she hosted The Today Show. She is currently working as NBC's Senior White House Correspondent.

Talking about her marital status she was married to her boyfriend, Robert Jansing in 1982, a chemist. In the starting of their relationship they were both happy with each other but after few years of their marriage, they did not continue their relationship. They went to the procedure of divorce.
