American actress, Constance McCashin is best known for her role as Laura Avery Sumner in the CBS prime time soap opera, 'Knots Landing'. She made her final screen appearance by playing a supporting role in the 1999 comedy film named 'The Out-of-Towners'. McCashin has also appeared at the TV Land awards in April 2009 for the 30th year celebration of 'Knots Landing'. She also appeared on Love on the Run (1985) and Nightmare at Bittercreek (1988).
