Lozada was born on December 10, 1975, in Brooklyn, New York, U.S. She belongs to Puerto Rican ancestry and regarding her nationality she is American. She grew up with her sister in the Bronx by her mother.
Initially, Lozada has worked for an entertainment attorney as a secretary. Later, she opened a shoe boutique called Dulce and became its co-owner.
