American actress, singer, and author, Gina Gershon is the daughter of Mickey Gershon, an interior decorator, and Stan Gershon, the import-export businessman. She attended New York University and graduated with a BFA in drama and psychology/philosophy in 1983. Gina is a founding member of the New York-based theater group named ‘Naked Angels’. In 2008, Gershon published her book entitled "Camp Creepy Time", a tale of a boy who discovers aliens at his summer camp, which she co-wrote with her brother, Dann Gershon.

She studied at Collier Street Elementary School and Woodland Hills Academy. Later, she attended Beverly Hills High School and completed graduation in 1980.
Later, she graduated with a BFA in drama and psychology/philosophy in 1983 from New York University.
