An author, cafe owner, and writer, Sandra Hanks was born in Concord, California. She is a daughter of Janet Marylyn Frager (née Frager: died 2016), a hospital worker, and Amos Mefford Hanks, an itinerant cook.Her book titled ‘Papaya and other seeds,’ is a collection of short stories. She along with her brother went with her father, while the youngest, Jim Hanks remained with mother in Red Bluff, California.
