An Inuk musician who is widely popular for her hit Canadian single "O Siem" which charted No. 1 on the Canadian country and adult contemporary charts. She is mostly popular for her talent of unique blending between pop and country musical styles with Canadian Inuit traditional music. After graduation she started her career as linguist with the Department of Indian & Northern Affairs. After she started working for Canada's Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami organization she began her music career. Her albums like Arctic Rose (1992) and Big Feeling (2003) were awarded with Juno Award. Her album This Child (1995) became Triple Platinum album which helped her to make her musical career more strong.
Talking about her personal life, she is already married. She has not disclosed any information regarding her husband like what he does.
