Ramos killed his mother on Friday morning, 2nd November and transported her body to a local church where he buried her under "a fire pit." After burying his mother, Ramos went to his home and created a burglary scene with the help of two juvenile friends.
The two other men have been identified as Dylan Ceglarek and Brian Porras, both 17. The next day, Ramos called the authorities reporting a burglary at his home and said,
his mom was missing and her van was still running in the driveway
Sheriff Mike Chitwood said in a news briefing that before Ramos strangled his mother, he got into "a fight" with her about the fact that he had gotten a D grade in school.
During a second press meeting, the Sheriff said,
probably around midnight, he came out of his room and went into his mother's room, where he proceeded to strangle her and thought she was dead.
But, the Sheriff further said, the boy realized his mother was alive while removing his mother's body and
he went back to strangle her again. Keep in mind, he didn't strangle her with a rope, he used his bare hands, which by estimate, took him 30 minutes to kill her.
Afterward, Ramos and his friends went on to bury Mrs. Gail Cleavenger and after they successfully buried her, they allegedly had "a celebratory soda" before going their separate ways.
