Although the fractured wrist didn't need a surgery, LA Dodgers will be playing without Turner for some months until Turner is recovered. In an interview baseball executive, Farhan Zaidi wishing for his quick recovery stated,
"You feel for the player and we're not as good a team without J.T., no doubt about that. The rest of the guys are going to have to do more for us to play at the same level."
