Extensive self-advertising and flaunting a lavish lifestyle might be a thing of this generation, but Hilton has been doing it, only more justly, for the last two decades. Considered an OG influencer, Hilton is, however, more than just a glitzy name in Hollywood. The woman is an icon and will continue to be, considering that her effervescent personality still rules millions of hearts. Born on February 17, 1981, in New York City, she is the daughter of tycoon Richard Hilton and socialite Kathy Hilton. Hands down, one the best-known royalties in Hollywood, there is no doubt that Paris got her initial start as a pretty heiress; she even thrived on the entitled brat accusation at a time before carving a multi-hyphenated career for herself. Aside from the heiress and socialite title that her rich family earned her, Hilton is also a media personality, businesswoman, model, and entertainer.

The blonde socialite has dated many well-known faces and some relatively famous men in the past. Hilton's earliest dating experience goes back to 2000 when she dated actor Edward Furlong. Paris caused a massive media stir when they almost walked the aisle with Jason Shaw. The duo dated briefly before getting engaged in a whirlwind romance. And it wasn't much of a shocker when the two called off their engagement within a year. "Paris has always loved Jason and cared about him deeply. But when they were together, she was just a kid and not ready for such a commitment," an insider explained.   

The Simple Life alum had a brief fling with Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley after her breakup with Shaw before she moved on with poker player Rick Salomon. Even though it lasted a few years, the duo's romance went down with a bitter experience for Hilton. Rick allegedly leaked their sex tape. "I just felt so betrayed. This was not some random guy; this was someone I was with for a few years," Hilton said while commenting on the scandal.  

The ugly experience with Saloman didn't bring down Paris, who went on to date Backstreet Boys' Nick Carter in 2004. The duo's relationship lasted only eight months. "Paris was the worst person in the world for me to hook up with," Carter wrote years later in his autobiography. The singer added, "[She] fed my worst impulses as far as partying." The Hilton Hotel heiress dated her name twin Paris Latsis from December 2004 to September 2005. The pair announced their engagement after eight months of dating- only to pull the plug in September.   

"Right now is a very tough time for me. I love Paris very much. This was the best experience of my life," Latsis said about his relationship with the socialite. Hilton's brief and quick rebound relationships continued with Stavros Niarchos, a fellow heir who she dated for about a year, guitarist Benji Madden, The Hills star Doug Reinhardt, and entrepreneur CY Waits until the socialite-turned-businesswoman stumbled upon a long-term relationship after a long time.  

Hilton dated Ibiza-born model River Viiperi for nearly two years. Things couldn't get better for the lovebirds as insiders reported River was a right fit for Paris, but as they say, it's now always men who screw up. The pair's split rumor hit amid Hilton's PDA-packed images with a mystery man. "At some point, you will realize that you have done too much for someone or something, that the only next possible step to do is to stop," River's post read, seemingly confirming Paris's infidelity.

After decades of rambling about with multiple men, Hilton found forever after in Carter Reum, who she had known for fifteen years. Carter, who is an entrepreneur, never struck as a potential boyfriend to Hilton until their reunion in December 2019. Hilton recalls sensing incredible chemistry with Carter. "I feel like Carter, and I are puzzle pieces getting connected. I never thought I'd meet a man like him," the socialite said. Before falling for Carter, Hilton was engaged to Chris Zylka.   

Hilton and Reum made their relationship official in early 2020 and couldn't stop gushing about each other after months. "I just always wanted what my mom and dad have. They're best friends; he's so loyal. I was always looking for that, but I was looking in the wrong places," a smitten Paris said. The pair's romance moved fast, with the two often making grand gestures for each other and Hilton openly talking about wanting to start a family with Carter.

Paris discussed her IVF journey in early 2021. "We have been doing the IVF, so I can pick twins if I like," the reality star said before explaining how she was more focused on starting a family than making money. Reum's proposal to Hilton came on her 40th birthday. The lovebirds and Paris's sister, Nicky Hilton, were vacationing on a private beach when Carter popped the question to Paris. "I just started shaking and crying because I was so excited, so happy," Paris said while recalling her picture-perfect proposal.   

The loved-up pair wasted no time after their engagement and were married within a year. After years of waiting around, Hilton's dream to become a mother came true on January 24, 2023, when she welcomed her firstborn.
