1. Bitter Gourd
Bitter gourd, also known as bitter melon, can be helpful for controlling diabetes and high blood pressure. It tends to influence the glucose metabolism rather than affecting a particular organ or tissue.
It helps in the secretion of insulin from pancreas thus preventing insulin resistance. Hence, it is beneficial for the type 1 and type 2 diabetes.
2. Cinnamon
Powdered cinnamon has the ability to lower blood sugar levels stimulating insulin activity. It contains bioactive components that can help prevent or fight diabetes to some extent.
However, it should not be taken in excess. Cassia cinnamon found in most grocery shop contains a toxic compound called coumarin that increases the risk of liver damage.

4. Indian Gooseberry
Indian gooseberry, also known as Amla, is a rich source of Vitamin C that promotes the functioning of the pancreas.
Take two to three Gooseberries, grind them and squeeze out the juice. Mix the juice in water and drink the juice daily in empty stomach for an effective response.
5. Dark Chocolate
Look for a dark chocolate that contains at least 200 milligrams of cocoa phenols. It helps in the reduction of high blood pressure to an efficient level.
6. Garlic
Garlic and garlic supplements help to decrease blood pressure and relaxing smooth muscles. More research on the benefits of garlic is going on with some miraculous effects.
Among those, garlic has been proved to help thin the blood, prevent the blockage in blood vessels, and thus lowering the blood pressure.
7. Tomatoes
