The couple has been together for decades-long, to say in particular, sources reported that the couple tied the knot in 1982. They made a rare public appearance in the after-party of the DWTS finale in Beverly Hills in 2014.

They share two adorable daughters named, Samantha Bergeron (born 7 October 1990) and Jessica Bergeron. The eldest girl worked as a production assistant at ABC after completing graduation from Emerson College.

She worked in the art department on ABC shows like Trophy Wife, How to Get Away with Murder, and Castle.

Bergeron often calls his daughters the 'lights of his life'.

As per some sources, the family splits time between Los Angeles and Greenwich, Connecticut.

"Bergeron has homes on both the East Coast and West Coast. His family is based on the East Coast, which has sometimes factored into his decisions about accepting job offers."

Tom Bergeron's Career Highlights

Bergeron, 63, initiated his professional career as a host of a local game show, Granite State Challenge on New Hampshire Public Television. Some of his early contributions included on Evening Magazine in the 1980s.

His career rose to prominence as soon as he signed with ABC News as a guest host to Good Morning America. In 1998, he hosted Hollywood Squares.

After working in the Hollywood Squares for six years in a row, he hosted America's Funniest Home Videos.

Though he was not a good dancer, he began hosting the ABC's Dancing with the Stars with Erin Andrews.

During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, he said,

"The idea of being an actual contestant? There'd be two problems. One, I don't think I'd last past week four. And two, I would not enjoy watching someone else host the show."

Furthermore, he co-hosted the Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Association Telethon from 2005 to 2010. He is also known for his role in A Capitol Fourth, an annual Independence Day Concert in 2012.

His final episode of America's Funniest Home Videos aired on 17 May 2015. He was replaced by Alfonso Ribeiro.
