Scott told her story to the Los Angeles Times where she told,

I literally froze. I said, 'What are you doing?' This isn't a #MeToo thing. I'm not your employer. It's not like I can fire you.

She further said she asked him why he did what she alleged him to have done, to which he told that she was"just so hot."

The actress further claimed that Kip grabbed her hand and placed on his groin and then put it on his penis before the filming of their sex scene began.

Pardue later told LA Times that he apologized to Scott through a representative for putting her hand on his groin, however, he didn't comment about her allegation about the masturbation was true or not.

Pardue released a statement saying,

I clearly misread the situation during a sex scene on set and have apologized to Sarah. I never intended to offend her in any way and deeply regret my actions and have learned from my behavior.

Scott also said that she had reported the incident to the SAG-AFTRA  union, however, she claims, the officials didn't seem in a hurry to address or resolve the situation. She said,

Speaking out about this has been extraordinarily difficult for me, and now I understand why so many don't

She added,

I was sexually violated while at work, and even though I had the courage to tell anyone and everyone who'd listen, as time went on, it seemed like I had very little control in truly preventing this from happening to anyone else.

Pardue's attorney said that his client would "welcome a SAG hearing" or any other formal processes to resolve the matter.
