Wassabi met Lauren Riihimaki in 2015. Soon, the two began dating and became inseparable. The couple lived together in a rented apartment in Los Angeles.

They often featured in each other's videos and fans just loved their chemistry. They were undoubtedly one of the loved YouTube couples. 

However, later that year, rumors started spreading about their break up when Lauren tweeted:
