Early Life and Education of Brittany Wagner

Brittany Wagner was born on November 15, 1977, in Clinton, Mississippi. For schooling, she attended Clinton High School from where she graduated in 1996. Later on, for her higher studies, she enrolled at Samford University.

In 1998, she transferred to the Mississippi State University. She graduated from the university in 2000 with a Bachelor's degree in Sports Studies and in 2004 graduated with a master's degree in Sports Administration. 

Brittany Wagner's Career

Brittany Wagner started working in the Jacksonville State University Athletic Department in 2002 while she was studying for her master's degree. Later in 2004, she started working at the Mississippi State University.

She started working in various jobs when she completed her Masters' studies. Wagner is an athletic instructional advisor and compliance assistant at East Mississippi Community College.

She also worked for the EMCC for some years where she monitored more than 200 students and has turned some of them into professional football players.

Wagner has given her 10 years to the NCAA AND NJCAA and has earned lots of experience. While working for the NCAA and NJCAA she was in charge of the wellness of the football players and she had to guide them in both athletics and studies.

In the year 2014, she founded Grades first which helped the athletics students excel in their classroom as well.

In the Netflix mini-series documentary named Last Chance U, she along with the three-time NJCAA national champions are shown during their 2015 football season. In the show, Wagner's hard work and determination in making them mentally and physically prepared is shown which was appreciated by many people.

She moved to Birmingham in 2017 and started working with the restaurant chain named Newk as a marketing director and catering sales. Recently she has started her own consulting company named 10 Thousand Pencils.

Brittany Wagner's net worth is not estimated but many sites claim it to be $2 million. She worked as an athletic instructor in university all her life. The average salary of an academic advisor ranges from $40,000 to $55,000. Some advisors with a high level of experience can even earn up to $60,000. But, as of now, Brittany is enjoying all her career success with the release of her Netflix show that became popular.

Not to mention, after the success of her hit Netflix show, Last Chance U, Wagner also released her own book titled Next Chance You: Tools, Tips, and Tough Love for Bringing Your A-Game to Life with 109 pages. The book was published in September 2021 and is available on Amazon is priced at $12. Fans can also get the audiobook version.

Brittany Wagner's Personal Life

Brittany Wagner was married to Mark White a former head basketball coach of Eastern Mississippi Community College, the college where she worked as the athletic instructor.

The couple divorced after they ran into some problem in their marital life. They haven't mentioned the reason behind the separation and are keeping it a secret.

Wagner and White have a beautiful daughter together named Kennedy Grier. She is a single mother and has raised her child very amazingly.
