Cathilee Deborah Zingano, widely known as Cat Zingano is an American mixed martial artist who competes in Ultimate Fighting Championship. Zingano is currently the #5 ranked pound-for-pound female MMA fighter in the MMARising.com and #3 ranked-pound female fighter according to the Unified Women’s MMA Ranking. She is the #6 contender in official UFC women’s bantamweight ranking. Zingano began her career in combat sports with wrestling at the age of 12. She attended Fairview High School where she got involved with combat sports after joining the wrestling team. She eventually became part of both the University of the Cumberland and Macmurray College women’s wrestling teams and became a 4 time All-American and National Champion.

Cat Zingano was born Cathliee Deborah Zingano in Winona, Minnesota, the US under the birth sign under the birth sign Cancer. Zingano is American as per nationality and as far as her ethnicity is concerned, she is White.
Zingano is the parents of Barbara Albert and Jon Albert. Besides, she attended Fairview High School (Boulder, Colorado) where she involved with combat sports. She then joined the University of Cumberlands and MacMurray College where she became the part f women's wrestling teams and also became a four-time All-American and National Champion.

Initially, Cat Zingano discovered Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) in 2007 and shortly after she competed and won several tournaments including World Championship in Los Angeles and Rio de Janerio State Championships in Brazil.
After months of Brazilian Jui-Jitsu, she competed in her first Mixed Martial Arts fight. On 13th June 2008, Zingano made her pro-MMA debut against Karina Taylor. She then won the championship titles in three of her first four pro fights.
Two years later, Zingano defeated Carina Damm at Crowbar MMA Winter Brawl in Grand Forks. In 2011, she defeated Takayo Hashi via knockout at Fight To Win: Outlaws.
Zingano was to face Anta Rodriguez at Invicta Fighting Championships 1 but was withdrawn due to her injury. On 29th September 2012, she signed to face Amanda Nunes at Strikeforce: Melendez vs. Healy but the event was canceled.
In 2013, Zingano announced that she would participate in the second women's match in Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). The year, she defeated Miesha Tate at the Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale. Following the victory, she became the coach on The Ultimate Fighter 18 which was later canceled because of her knee injury.
After recovery, she participated at UFC 178 in 2014, facing Amanda Nunes. As of 2018, she defeated Marino Reneau at UFC Fight Night 133. Furthermore, Zingano is also an instructor at Zingano Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
