From a young age, she had an early interest in athletics and a desire to make a living in that field. She began her professional life working for the LG Stadtwerke in Munich, under the direction of Coach Daniel Stoll. At the German Athletics Championships in 2012, which were held on June 16th and 17th at Wattenscheider Lohrheidestadion, she participated in a variety of different small games and finished third in a four-time 400-meter relay.

At the DecaNation competition in Valence, which took place on the 31st of August 2013, Christina Hering made her debut with the national team (France). She climbed 2:01.45 minutes at the German Championships in UIM and won gold in 800 meters in the first season of 2014, and at the German Championships in 2015, she improved her personal best performance in the 800 meters run to 1:59.54 minutes. In the first season of 2014, she won gold in 800 meters. The following year, she competed in the three-times 800-meter relay at the German Youth Championships in Monchengladbach, Germany, and set a new record for the German U23 division. She ran the 800 meters in a time of 2:01.04 minutes while competing in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, but she did not advance to the semi-finals.

In later years, she went on to win the European championship for her team in Lille, France.
