Sydney Leathers is an American political activist infamously known for being a sexting partner of politician Anthony Weiner. During Weiner's Mayoral campaign, Sydney exposed him saying he was her sexting partner. Besides, she is also a blogger for the Indiana Progressive Liberals as well as a field organizer for President Obama's re-election campaign, Sydney Leathers is infamous as Anthony Weiner’s sexting partners in July 2013.

She recently made the film Weiner And Me sexting relationship with Anthony Weiner, the New York mayoral candidate. Sydney Leathers released a video with Steven Hirsch, Vivid Entertainment founder, and co-chairman and left the porn headquarters in Los Angeles on 27th July 2013.

Early Life And Education Of Sydney Leathers

Sydney Leathers was born on September 23, 1989, in Mt. Carmel, southern Indiana. She grew up in southern Illinois. Sydney graduated from Mt. Carmel High School in Mt Carmel, Illinois in 2008. She filmed an unprotected sex scene for a series ‘Public Disgrace’ with Xander Corvus.

Sydney Leather, who initially started her career as a political activist and a blogger, is seeking a career in adult movies. Following Leather gained media attention in the sexting scandal, she wanted to pursue a career in porn.

Appearing in Howard Stern's late-night show in July 2013, she said she wanted a boob job and a porn video. In the interview, she detailed her future plan, body modifications, and raunchy "plans."

She also met the adult entertainment, Vivid Entertainment founder, and co-chairman Steve Hirsch. Then, she was seen getting into his car in LA. However, later she revealed she rejected Vivid's offer to film a sex tape.

In August, Leather shot a porn video on which she regretted not using a condom while shooting her debut with an adult actor who earlier slept with a star who was diagnosed as HIV positive.

Sydney Leathers' Personal Life And Controversy

Sydney Leather came into media after her notorious sexting scandal with a politician Weiner. Leather keeps her personal information and her relationship status secret, however, media speculated her marital status to be unmarried.

She was in a relationship with Anthony Weiner for a brief period of time which caught media attention after she disclosed their sexting relationship.

Shortly after the sexting scandal, Leathers revealed about her relationship with Weiner. She then revealed that she was the one who initiated the contact, however, Weiner soon took their conversation to the sexual level and soon they were having phone sex frequently, at least twice a week.

Leathers confirmed her relationship with Weiner in November 2012 and Weiner asked her to remove any evidence of their phone conversation before he ran for mayor. She said,

I feel sick about it. I'm disguised by him. He is not who I thought he was

Last year in 2107, the disgraced former Democratic congressman Anthony Weiner was given a sentence of 21 months in prison. He was found guilty of transferring obscene material to a minor's phone. 

Soon after his prison sentence was announced, Sydney stated how happy she feels after he was charged. She said, 

“I’m just happy he didn’t get off with only probation. He deserves some prison time for sure. My birthday was Saturday and I’m pretty sure this is my gift.”

According to some online sources, Leathers stands at a medium height of 5 feet and 6 inches (167 cm) and she weighs around 62 kg (137 lb). Leather has blue-colored eyes and brown hair.
