Betty Liu is a news anchor for Bloomberg Television and its subsidiary Bloomberg L.P., She is a well-known face in the American journalism industry.  

However, as far as her personal life is concerned she has been married twice till now. Her first, married husband Benjamin L. Walter, got divorced because of some personal differences.

The couple was blessed with twins. On July 21, 2004, she gave birth to twin boys Dylan and Zachary

However, because of some personal differences, they got divorced in the year 2006.

On April 23, 2008, the trial court in Ohio issued its judgment on the divorce that included a shared parenting plan.

After getting divorced from her ex-husband, she went to Hong Kong with her kids. As she moved with time, she felt that she needed a man in her life and a father for her children.

As time passed, she met her future husband in Hong Kong. She met an Australian news executive named Bill William.

They started dating for a while. She needed a man in her life to take care of her and her youngsters. Then she decided to marry her boyfriend William.

The lovable duo tied the knot in 2009. Currently, she is living happily with her husband and two children in Millburn, New Jersey.

Although, the lovable couple has no children together yet. 

About her Profession

She started her career as a journalist in Hong Kong. She was the youngest ever Taiwan Bureau Chief of Dow Jones Newswire.

Later she worked for several years at the Financial Times as the Atlanta Bureau Chief breaking the stories on top corporate and political leaders such as Coca-Cola ex-chief executive Douglas Daft, former Home Depot CEO Bob Nardelli, and former U.S. President Jimmy Carter.

After some years of the Financial Times, she later returned to Asia and served as an anchor for CNBC Asia, where she covered daily market actions in the Greater China region.

 

She is Presently involved with Bloomberg Television, formerly anchoring "In the Loop with Betty Liu". She continues to appear during the mid-day hours on Bloomberg Television.

She also hosted "In the Loop, At the Half" on Bloomberg Radio. She takes many interviews with famous personalities like Carlos Slim, Warren Buffet, Ted Turner, and many other celebrities in her shows.

 

Over the course of her career, she has also written for The Wall Street Journal and Far Eastern Economic Review.

As per her contribution, she has gained several owners and awards. On October 27, 2011, she became the first female and Asian student to be inducted into Central High School's Alumni Hall of Fame.

As of now, she is living happily with her husband William, and two sons. We wish her life is going happily for the rest of her life.
