The Kendrick couple welcomed their son Raif-Henok Emmanuel Kendrick on 7 August 2009. It took more than 10 years for the pair to have a baby as they had a hard time conceiving followed by multiple miscarriages.

It was a very difficult time. I think these kinds of things either make or break relationships, and it made ours. Infertility can be really hard, especially in a young marriage.
