Joseph Eduardo “Joe” Johns is well known through his professional career. He is a CNN correspondent based in the Washington D.C. As we all know about his profession but only very few people know about his personal life. It seems he almost like to hide his personal life just to focus all his time on his work.

It’s somehow difficult to say whether he is in a relationship with someone or not. Almost a decade ago he was married to a TV journalist and a political analyst from the United States but their relationship didn’t exist long and they divorced. Maybe they were both focused on their career. They have two children together.

Previously Joe was married to Michelle Bernard. She is an MSNBC TV Journalist as well as a lawyer and an author from the United States. 

They were both together stand as a loving husband and wife for several years sharing their ups and downs, understanding each other’s and then after few years they both decided to get separated. The got divorced in 2008.

The couple has two children and both children currently lives with their mother. It’s almost 10 years that they got a divorce and it seems The CNN correspondent is happy enjoying most of his time with his work.

Michelle Bernard remarried after she divorced with Joe johns

Though Joe didn’t get married after his divorce with Michelle she got hitched once again after 6 years of the duo's separation. Back in 2014, she remarried and started living her new life with her new husband.

The report claims that she is very happy and satisfied with her new spouse and two children from her previous marriage. They were all living together in Potomac, Maryland.

Joe Johns’s Career and achievements

Joe began his career in news coverage when he started working for WSAZ-TV located in Huntington, West Virginia, In the Network he worked as the reporter and anchor.

He later joined WSOC-TV in Charlotte, North Carolina. In 1983, he joined the NBC member WRC-TV in Washington D.C.Joe worked at NBC as a reporter for over 10 years covering the News of Capitol Hill 

Eventually, he joined CNN where he was made the congressional journalist in 2004. He was seen on shows like 'Anderson Cooper 360°' and different demonstrates everywhere throughout the Network. He has also reported on several debates related to legislation.

Johns won an Emmy Award for his coverage of the savage activities of the Nation of Islam to cleanse the area of Drugs during his stretch at the NBC.

He has likewise been respected with two National Association of Black Journalists' Salute to Excellence awards first in the year 2005 and in the year 2007 for his work on ecological equity.

Likewise, his teams while working together at NBC News were honored with the Edward R. Murrow award for reporting on Beltway sniper attacks.
