Hollyoaks actress Ali Bastian has got engaged to her boyfriend of 18-months and co-actor David O'Mahony on Sunday 22nd April, multiple sites confirmed. The 36-year-old actress revealed that her boyfriend David popped the question in Bali and she said 'Yes!' According to the OK Magazine, David had planned to propose his girlfriend on a romantic holiday in Bali, however, he proposed her when they returned from a musical.

The 36-year-old actress revealed that her boyfriend David popped the question and she instantly said 'Yes!'

 

According to the OK Magazine, David had planned to propose his girlfriend on a romantic holiday in Bali, however, he proposed her when they returned from a musical.

Bastian told OK! Magazine,

Even though we'd discussed marriage, it took me completely by surprise. I still think, has this really happened?

The actress also revealed her plans for her marriage,

We're planning three celebrations. We want to get married in London followed by a cocktail party and then a blessing in Bali.

She further said,

I love David's kindness-he is so kind and thoughtful, to a point where sometimes I'm like, how could I ever be so thoughtful?

 David said,

I was 99.99 percent sure that she'd say yes, but there was still a scary/exciting feeling.

David added,

Moments after I proposed to Ali I felt this huge amount of relief that I didn't have to keep the secret anymore!
