- El Paso County Sheriff's deputy Micah Flick has been shot to death on the 11th anniversary of his service.
- Flick is the third sheriff's deputy to be killed in Colorado since 31st December 2017.
- Police reported the suspect was killed in the shooting which left three other officers and a bystander injured.
- Flick is survived by his wife and two children, twins of age 7.

The Denver Fire Department mourned Flick death in a Twitter post shared just hours after the gunfight.

Micah Flick, 34, and other officers had been investing a stolen car in Colorado Springs when they encountered the suspect who began gunfire immediately, authorities confirmed.
Many civilians and officers lined South Nevada Avenue in paying tribute to the late deputy sheriff in a police procession paid him tribute on social media as law enforcement officials from Colorado to New York.

Authorities didn't release the injured officers' name immediately, however, they said two of them are deputies with the sheriff's office and the third is an officer with the Colorado Springs Police Department.
Before, Adams County Sheriff's deputy Heath Gumm killed on January 24, 2018, while chasing a suspect at an apartment complex.
Micah Flick died on the 11th anniversary day of his service with the department. He is survived by his wife and twin children, 7.
