Buffett married his leading lady Susan in the year 1952. They were together for over 50 years until Susan's death in 2004. Susan who was the director of Berkshire Hathaway, a leading business company died of stroke in Cody, Wyoming on July 29, 2004.
Although they have a long-lasting marriage, they were not together all the time. They separated halfway through their married life in 1977 as Susan shifted to San Francisco.

Warren Buffett Married His Second Wife Astrid Menks in 2005
It was Buffett's 76th birthday when he married his partner, Astrid, who was 60 at that time. The Berkshire Hathaway CEO held a low-key ceremony at his daughter Susie's home in Omaha, Nebraska in the year 2006.
The father of three encountered Menks in the mid-1970s when his first wife resumed her career as a nightclub singer at the French Cafe.
Menk was working as a waitress, delivering a faux- French menu.
That was the time when Susan thought she had to make some more effort to upgrade her career. She moved to San Francisco to pursue her career in 1977.
It was, however, the partial separation of the couple.
Buffett said in a documentary,
"Astrid has lived with me for a long time, she’s done wonders for me. It worked well, but I don’t think it will work for lots of other people necessarily."
Well, the present couple is happily living their conjugal life for almost 11 years with no divorce rumors.
