Star Jones tied the knot with fiance Ricardo Lugo, a former Venezuelan basketball player. The wedding took place on an extravagant cruise.
The American lawyer and Ricardo exchanged vows during their trip to the Bahamas.
There were 150 guests on the massive Royal Caribbean cruise. The 150 guests present on the cruise were the closest friends of the newlywed.
Among the long list of guests, Tina Knowles-Lawson and Phaedra Parks were also present at the ceremony.
Jones wore a plain and simple white gown. The official photos of the wedding are yet to come out. Both Star and Ricardo got engaged last year when he proposed to her with huge bling.
She shared the picture of the ring in June of the same year on her Instagram account, and captioned it,
“There appears to be a heatwave going across the Midwest. The extra heat is from the sun shining on my heart. The bells of happiness are ringing right now.”
Tina Knowles shared the picture of the wedding along with all the bridesmaids.
Whereas Jones also shared a photo from the Bachelorette party.
The pair went public with their relationship at the 8th Annual Children's Museum. They attended the event along with Ricardo's son, Jake from his previous relationship. Although Star does not have a child of her own, she is now stepmother to her husband's child. In an interview, she expressed her happiness and thanked her spouse for giving her the gift of motherhood.
This is the second marriage for Jones as she was previously married to Wall Street executive Al Reynolds from 2004 to 2008.
