The Hangover actor Brody Stevens died on Friday, 22nd February.

The comedian was found dead in his Los Angeles home on Friday. TMZ reported citing police sources, the cause of the death of the 48-year-old is speculated to be an apparent suicide.

A spokesperson told the outlet,

"Brody was an inspiring voice who was a friend to many in the comedy community."

He added,

"He pushed creative boundaries and his passion for his work and his love of baseball were contagious. He was beloved by many and will be greatly missed."

As a matter of fact, Stevens fought a long and hard battle against mental health issues. In 2011, the actor was taken to hospital following a bipolar episode.

In fact, His apparent suicide comes after the actor tweeted an upbeat post in his account.

Brody is famous for portraying the role of Officer Foltz in the first Hangover movie. The comedian also headlined a 2013 Comedy Central series also performing warm-up skits for shows like Chelsea Lately and @midnight.

Stevens also showcased his comedy talents in a large number of comedy clubs and became famous for his slots at the Comedy Store comedy club.
