He tied the knot with his college sweetheart Breanne during the summer of 2007 and since then, the duo has been blessed with a happily married life.

As per some sources, they got married in their hometown in California, organizing a private ceremony in the presence of only a few close friends and family.
How did they first meet?
The adorable couple's love story began when they were in high school. Sources report that both of them grew up in Arroyo Grande in California and went to the same high school, Arroyo Grande High School where they first met in 2004.
Eventually, the duo started dating each other and fell in love. His photography was also inspired by Breanne as she helped out Chris by lending him her mother's camera during those times.
After dating for more than three years, the duo finally got married and has remained happiest since then.
The 27-year-old who was once entitled" the hottest young surf photographer" by Surfline, now lives with his wife Breanne raising their two sons Jeremiah and Forrest in his hometown of Pismo Beach, California.

After nearly five years of a successful marriage, Chris and Breanne gave birth to their first child, a baby boy Jeremiah Burkard on 19th May 2012.
Soon after two years, they were blessed with another adorable son, Forrest Burkard on June 16, 2014.
