Bachelor Nation's star Clare Crawley has engaged to the castmate Benoit Beausejour-Savard on 22nd February, Thursday. Beausejour-Savard got down on the knee and popped the question to Crawley in French. The pair first met on the show. Crawley found herself in a love triangle with Beausejour-Savard and German contestant Christian Rauch. However, Beausejour-Savard was intensely in love with her, but Crawley ended up saying she didn't feel the same about him and wanted to know Rauch better.

Finally!!! Bachelor Nation's star Clare Crawley has engaged to the castmate Benoit Beausejour-Savard on 22nd February, Thursday. 

Beausejour-Savard got down on the knee and popped the question to Crawley in French and Crawley said Yes!

 

Speaking to People, Crawley said, 

It's overwhelming, it's crazy. Going on these Bachelor shows is a huge risk and you don't know the outcome. It's scary, but it's a risk that you have to take to get the good in the end.

Beausejour-Savard joined his fiance saying,

I didn't expect this. I was heartbroken on The Bachelorette: Canada but going back on this show I had an open mind. I was realistic that there might not be someone for me. But like you've seen on TV, I had the biggest crush ever on her. [But then] it wasn't a crush, it was developing into something really deep and strong.

The pair first met on the show. Crawley found herself in a love triangle with Beausejour-Savard and German contestant Christian Rauch. However, Beausejour-Savard was intensely in love with her, but Crawley ended up saying she didn't feel the same about him and wanted to know Rauch better.

Then Savard was heartbroken, and he left the house. Crawley, on the other hand, couldn't get cozy with Rauch and got out of the house before the kissing competition.

Beausejour-Savard then reconnected with Crawley in text message where he asked her if she was alright after leaving the show. He told,

The sentence that kept running through my mind was, ‘It’s not the end of the two of us.’ But I knew at that moment that she may have fell for him. It didn’t happen, so she just called me and from there, it went better and better, and we spent hours and hours each and every day talking to each other.

Beausejour-Savard further added, he started thinking about the proposal only a week ago and said he hadn't told his family before, however, he had asked Crawley's family for their blessing over FaceTime. He said,

We are two sensitive people, two intense people. Go big or home. I love her so much, you have no idea, and she's just the best so, why not? I wanted to.

Before the Thursday night's episode, The Bachelor Winter Games teased their engagement on Twitter.
