Currently ruling as one of the highest-paid actors in the world, Dwayne Johnson, more famously known as The Rock, was an iconic wrestler before he made his way in the movies. The actor's bankable reputation lands him the biggest blockbusters and feature films; Dwayne's recent hit flicks include Black Adam, a $393 million grosser, Red Notice, which grossed $200 million, and more. Johnson, 50, is widely considered the greatest wrestler of his time. Born in California to a former wrestler, Rocky Johnson, Dwayne's eventual run in the WWE was decided. During his two-decades-long stint in the WWE, Johnson successfully played and showed himself as the global representative of the wrestling world. His massive international appeal proved helpful when Dwayne ventured into acting. Aside from his imposing career in the industry, Johnson is also known and loved for being the epitome of the perfect father. The Rock reckons it's pretty fortunate to be able to fall in love. And the actor believes he has only had such luck twice in his life. The first time Johnson gave away his heart was in the 90s when he met and married his first wife. But it was the second time that proved to be the charm for the former wrestler. "I was so fortunate to have fallen in love once," Dwayne confessed in an interview, adding, "to fall in love again? That's a hard thing to do twice in the position I'm in. I'm one lucky son of a b-"  

The actor met music producer/songwriter Lauren Hashian on the sets of his family comedy The Game Plan in 2006. Being quite the serious stars of the industry, Johnson and Hashian didn't beat around the bush or give press to cook any story and instead came clean about their romance after they started dating. "While certain aspects of our relationship have changed, we are both vitally important to each other's lives," the power couple's joint statement read in 2007.  

Dwayne, 50, who thrives on his image of a family man, explains how a happy home life caters to a successful professional life. "With all the cool shit and success that I've been lucky enough to get? That doesn't happen unless the home life is solid," says the former wrestler. The pair welcomed their firstborn, Johnson's second, daughter Jasmine, in December 2015. The couple was blessed with another daughter, Tiana, in April 2018. "Blessed and proud to bring another strong girl into this world," Johnson wrote.   

After years of dating and building a beautiful family, it was time the Red Notice actor and lady love take the ultimate step in their relationship. The twosome tied the knot on Aug. 18, 2019, in an intimate ceremony in Hawaii. The pair were the internet's couple goals for weeks when Lauren gifted a song, Step Into a Love Like This, to her husband on their first wedding anniversary. Calling the track "the most special song she's ever written," Hashian said it is a "reflection of experiencing our family, our love, and our life together." 

Like every married couple, Dwayne and his wife have tackled some obstacles; the recent one was during the pandemic when Johnson's entire family tested positive for Covid-19. "I could tell you that this has been one of the most challenging and difficult things we have ever had to endure as a family," the actor said in his statement. But turns out, their shared tribulation only brought them closer as a family.

As said by the Hercules actor himself, he has only fallen in love twice in his life. And as every man in love should, Johnson rightly put a ring on both of his girlfriends. The WWE alum was married to businesswoman Dany Garcia from 1997 to 2007. While songwriter Lauren is known as the woman who's keeping Johnson's life balanced as a doting wife and mother, Garcia is the woman who partnered with Dwayne throughout his career.   

The former couple met as students at the University of Miami in the early '90s and tied the knot on May 3, 1997. The pair welcomed their daughter, Simone, in August 2001. The pair shared many similar interests like films, body-building, and business, and there came a time when the duo realized how they were better off as friends than a romantic couple- prompting the spouses to separate amicably in June 2007.  

Johnson's professional tie with his ex-wife is a testament to their enduring friendship. Despite going through a divorce and other theatrics that comes with it, Johnson and Garcia continue to share a relationship as colleagues and parents. "The reality is the moniker of 'ex-wife to a celebrity' is easy for people to understand, and it has a little salacious hook," Garcia said while explaining how she worked hard to not let her dissolved marriage with Johnson be her only identity.
