An FBI agent, who worked for the Baltimore Field Office, was found dead with stab injuries and a self-inflicted gunshot wound on Wednesday, 7th March outside his home in Maryland.

 The emergency responders pronounced the couple dead, Anne Arundel County police called it a murder-suicide. The pair was due in court on Wednesday for a divorce hearing.

Police responded a 911 call by a Fisher's friend shortly after 8 on Wednesday morning. The caller reported Fisher was ''being threatened by her recently estranged husband.''

FBI spokesperson Dave Fitz said Raynor had been working with the bureau since 1996 and had been stationed at the Baltimore field office since 2003.

According to Capital Gazette, Fisher filed for divorce from her husband in March 2017. The pair appeared in an Annapolis courtroom Tuesday morning where the Proceedings were originally scheduled to continue through Thursday.

Police declined to provide any more information regarding the murder-suicide, but they said Raynor and Fisher had been taken to the Chief Medical Examiner's Office for autopsies.

A neighbor living on the same block as Fisher said the couple had two children together; however, the authorities didn't confirm it.
