Kevin Hart not hosting the Oscars?
Yes, it is true. In a recent tweet of the ‘Chaos Theory’ actor, Kevin announced to step down from the privilege of hosting the prestigious award show. Hart went on Twitter early Friday morning and posted this update along with an apology to the LGBTQ community.
According to BuzzFeed News Kevin Hart deleted this 20 tweet this week.
“Yo if my son comes home & tries 2 play with my daughter's doll house I’m going 2 break it over his head & say n my voice ‘stop that’s gay,’ ”
Hart said that he has dealt with his homophobic statements in the past, and he’s not going to let Internet trolls win.

Kevin Hart has exuded positivity despite being dragged into the controversy
This trend is surely not new in Hollywood, Director Brett Ratner resigned as a producer of the Oscars in 2011 after using an anti-gay slur. Disney fired “Guardians of the Galaxy” director James Gunn from creating the third saga of the movie after some of his Twitter posts.
Kevin also posted another Instagram video to let his followers know about how everything he has been saying is coming from a good place.
It seems just a matter of time before the Academy cuts ties with him, a move that is expected to come as early as the weekend. Because even though Hart has a point in objecting to having posts from nearly a decade ago thrown in his face, his stubbornness has surely established him as a clear liability to the Oscars, and his unapologetic behavior for homophobic comments could send wrong messages to nominees.
