Jon Voight has been divorced twice. Know about his wives, married life and children

Voight was married twice but from both marriages, he just gained a pain. Though he is not successful with his life like professional life, he has no regret. He still seems happy besides those failures in a relationship. For the very first time, he was in an affair with American actress and dancer Lauri Peters but after few years of relationship both decided to get married.

People having a most successful professional career always has ups and downs in their personal relationship. Jon Voight too has the similar type of problem. As you all know, he is one of the most successful personalities in Hollywood industry.

Jon Voight’s married life, wife, and Divorce

Voight was married twice but from both marriages, he just gained a pain. Though he is not successful with his life, he has no regret. 

He still seems happy besides those failures in a relationship. For the very first time, he was in an affair with American actress and dancer Lauri Peters and after few years of relationship both decided to get married.

In 1962, Jon Voight and Lauri peters tied their knot together. They officially became husband and wife but their relationship did not go last long.

After just five successive years of their marriage, they both decided to get separated. They got Divorced in 1967. 

The two them first met when he joined the cast as Nazi messenger by Rolf. It was believed that the reason behind their separation was Jon's extramarital affair. 

After few years their divorce, Jon was again in the spotlight after being involved with another American actress and producer Marcheline Bertrand. 

They were in a relationship and later they turned that relationship into a marriage. Jon and Bertrand got married in 1971.

however, like the first one, Jon's relationship again failed for the second time. After just nine years of duo's marriage, they got separated. 

They divorced in 1980. But from his second wife he has two children: Daughter and son. At 56, in 2007, Bertrand died of breast and ovarian cancer.

 

His second wedding also became the victim of his extramarital affair rumor. It has not been proved whether he was in affairs with someone or not.

Jon Voight’s Children

There was no any child from his first wife Lauri. With this, we can assume that how was his relationship with his first wife.

More than family they were concerned more about their professional life. But from his second wife Bertrand , Jon was blessed with two children. 

Son James Haven and Daughter Angelina Jolie.  James Haven was eldest child of the family and was born in 1973. He is a popular American actor and producer.

Similarly, the duo's second child was Angelina Jolie. Yes, we are talking about the same Angelina Jolie who is a popular American actress and Filmmaker.

She is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and talented actresses in the Hollywood. However, she does not have a sound relationship with her father.

Apparently, Angelina has not been able to forgive Jon for cheating her mother. He was not even invited when she was getting married to former husband Bratt Pitt.
