Journalist Jennifer Griffin and Greg Myre married on 2nd October 1994 and the couple is living happily with 3 children.

Jennifer Griffin is an American journalist who is currently working as a national security correspondent for Fox News. 

She married her long-time boyfriend Greg Myre, who is an American journalist and NPR’s digital editor for international news a long time back and has been living a perfect family life since then.

They first met in South Africa in late 1989, when Greg was covering the imminent release of Nelson Mandela and she was a cub reporter for The Harvard Crimson.

The couple tied the knot on October 2, 1994. They went for a honeymoon in a Sandbagged house in Kabul, Afghanistan.

The lovable duo has still in a good relationship because of their good bond and mutual understanding. It’s almost 2 decades since their marriage, and there is still no sign of divorce.

About their children

The couple has been blessed with three children together, two daughters and a son.

In 1999, the network transferred her to Jerusalem, where she gave a birth to two daughters, Annalise and Amelia Myre in the hospital.  Later, in September 2009, she gave a son, Luke Myre.

About Jennifer’s Profession

Initially, she reported for The Sowetan newspaper in Johannesburg, South Africa where she covered Nelson Mandela’s release from custody.

Before joining Fox News in 1999, she enclosed Middle Eastern affairs for the associated press and National Public Radio.

She joined Fox News Channel in October 1999, as a Jerusalem-based correspondent. She has covered major interviews with government officials including former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta in Baghdad, exclusive interview with general David Petraeus in Kabul.

She has also traveled on multiple trips overseas with former Defense Secretary Robert Gates from 2007 to 2011.

She has reported daily from the Pentagon where she questions senior military leaders, travels to war zones and reports on all aspects of the military.

Griffin's Battle for Breast Cancer

At the age of 40, she was diagnosed with stage 3 triple negative breast cancer. Griffin’s said, “I’ve put on body armor before and covered stories”.

She also added, “I never thought the greatest danger to my life would come from inside of me”.

However, she was treated with 17 rounds of chemotherapy and an experimental drug called carboplatin, which is normally used to treat colon cancer.

She was given a complete pathological response and now she is cancer free.

About Greg's Profession

As we know Greg is the international editor for digital news at NPR. Previously, he was a foreign correspondent from 1987 to 2007 for The New York Times.

He has covered major international events, including Nelson Mandela’s release from prison in 1990, the gulf war of 1991, the rise of the Taliban in Afghanistan, Iraq under Saddam Hussein, and America’s war in Iraq and Afghanistan.

As of now, the couple is living happily with their children. We wish their married life to be always successful.
