Melissa has faced a series of changes in her life since past decades. She said;
"A lot has changed. I’ve grown as a person in the past eight years. I’m remarried. I have a son. I know the work it takes to get to the Paralympic Games."

I am so very proud of this guy. Many months ago he made a side comment that he might want to do the Chicago triple challenge someday. That's a super sprint tri one day and an Olympic distance race immediately followed by a sprint distance race the next day. Naturally, I jumped at the chance and signed him up for all three races. Knowing I couldn't race because I was pregnant I could live vicariously through him. He's never been one to train much but add in a move and a new baby and that training time is less and less. But he took it all in stride completing all three races and all of them with a smile on his face. It takes a special person to do that and I'm so lucky he's my husband. Love you so much @bstolsma, I hit the jackpot with you as my husband. And next time ill ask you twice before I just sign you up for something. Maybe. x 3. #proudwife #chicagotriathlon #triplechallenge
