He sent two dozen roses to Tina to impress her and make her forget about Chris. Men will be men!
"I thought it was a humorous way of leaving my mark but it was a bit devious wasn’t it?"
It was his luck that Tina and the guy, later on, broke up and they started their relationship. The couple is now married for many years and the love and passion that they have for each other is still the same.
When asked about the secret behind his successful marriage, he said:
"Tina and I have been together 20 years now and the secret to a lasting relationship is to be friends with each other. And to laugh. I leave clothes around everywhere, I’m messy, I don’t load the dishwasher, I’m a useless cook. But Tina says my saving grace is that I make her laugh."
Nicky is a proud father of four daughters, Lilla, Kristy, Isla, and Breagha.
