The 34-year-old Alexandra Burke describes her debilitating IBS battle as makes her first television appearance after announcing her pregnancy. The singer took to Instagram on Tuesday to announce the news that she and her football boyfriend Darren Randolph were expecting again.

Alexandra Burke has broken her silence after announcing she's expecting again. She revealed the publication about her struggles with Irritable Bowel Syndrome and the impact, this has had on her career and life in the general public.

Marking IBS Awareness Month, which is taking place this April, the soon-to-be mom of two has detailed the impact several cramping and bloating have had on her life. The syndrome is something that affects between one and two in every 10 people in the UK.

And its symptoms can have an enormous impact on the lives of those suffering from it, celebrity or not. The 34-year-old Alexandra discussed the impact it had on her the long road to receiving a diagnosis and the lifestyle changes which have relieved symptoms.

In 2008, Alexandra won the fifth season of the reality singing show and has since gone on to release three albums, and appear on other shows including West End productions of The Bodyguard Musical, Strictly Come Dancing, and Sister Act Musical.

However, Burke's also now spoken more about her battle with IBS, a condition that once left her suffering agonizing cramps when performing on stage. "It started my early twenties just after The X Factor and it got to the point where I felt it was out of control and an out-of-body experience."

In addition, the singer said doing so was life-changing and wanted to make sure other people felt comfortable doing the same. On Tuesday, she announced her second pregnancy with some snaps of her partner cradling her bump.

No actually, Alexandra was fortunate to not encounter any of that. And she says that because she was talking Symprove way before she fell pregnant. She's been really fine since taking Symprove and pregnancy was a fantastic time for her.

It was nine months ago, that the pair gave birth to their first baby, but are yet to disclose their child's gender or name. The 34-year-old took to Instagram on Tuesday to announce the cheerful news that she and her partner Darren Randolph were expecting again.

The pair visited Dubai and shared pictures of their visit. And Burke, posting on her IG shared a rare photo of their newborn. The two have not revealed the name or gender of their child. The former X-Factor old has now been shedding light on serious health issues that she has secretly been battling for years.
