Speculations that Oprah Winfrey might run for president emerged after her emotional speech at the Golden Globes in January 2018. And now, President Donald Trump has taken to his Twitter to say he hopes she runs for his office in 2020.

Trump took to his Twitter after Winfrey's interview with a group of Michigan voters for her CBS show 60 Minutes aired on Sunday. In the tweet, Trump slammed Winfrey ''very insecure.'' He also wrote he hopes Winfrey might run for president.

 Trump further wrote he didn't think Winfrey might run but he asserted if she did, he would beat her.

On Sunday episode, Winfrey presented a panel discussion with 14 people in Michigan which she had a year ago, to mark Trump's first year in office.

Winfrey kicked off the Sunday's episode saying,

One year into Donald Trump's presidency, Americans remain divided, often unwilling to listen to what the other side has to say.

She continued,

It's happening in families, among friends, and at the workplace. We witnessed that schism first-hand last fall when we went to Grand Rapids, Michigan, and gathered 14 people — seven who voted for Mr. Trump, seven who did not.

She further told,

To mark President Trump's first year in office we decided to repeat the experiment.
