Life for the hardworking Oklahoma Sooners head coach with two young daughters isn't simple at all. But, with someone as Caitlin Buckley by her side, it has been simpler for Lincoln Riley to conquer it all. Seriously, more power to women like Mrs. Riley.

Caitlin Buckley & Lincoln Riley; Together Since 2002

Interestingly, Caitlin and her then-future husband hold a specially funny love story. Because Buckley and Riley literally went to two different rivalry schools. As Lincoln is known to have graduated from Muleshoe High School School and Texas Tech University, Caitlin went to Dimmit High School.

Precisely, Caitlin was a year junior to Lincoln who finished college in 2005 as the Dimmit alum graduated college in 2006. Moreover, their love story flourished in 2002 after Caitlin was a freshman college student. And, right after Buckley finished her college, the love birds tied the knot on 14th July 2007.

The bride and groom were only 23 and 24. And, after their wedding which took place in Methodist Church Texas, Caitlin and Lincoln jetted off to Maui Hawaii to celebrate their honeymoon.

And, over the fourteen years of their marriage, the husband and wife welcomed two children, both daughters; Sloan Riley and Stella Riley. And, after the birth of their daughters, Caitlin stopped working at the kindergarten school.

Supportive Wife & A Caring Mother

And, with a busy career of her husband which keeps Lincoln on the pitch all the time, one would think that the coaching career of Lincoln must have distant him from Caitlin. That's not the truth, though.

As a matter of fact, Lincoln who calls his wife to be extremely supportive of his work never needs to worry about not being able to spend time with his family.

When the Oklahoma Sooners coach can't get spend time with her two daughters and put them to sleep on Monday and Wednesday (the usually buy day for him), Caitlin makes sure to bring the girls to the practice.

After all, when Caitlin married the love of her life, she knew what she signed up for. As a matter of fact, as for, Caitlin, she already believed that her husband was going to be a high school coach from the early days she started seeing him.

Maintains A Close Relationship With The Boys

But, above all, what is even more impressive is the fact that Mrs. Riley shares a great relationship with Lincoln's students. She even makes the boys lunch and invites them to her house and serve meals.

It's as if the need for a son has been removed by the presence of the boys who often visit their coach family for practices and help. Caitlin loves to know about the boys and their hobbies too. The boys love and care back the Rileys too.

Not to mention, there are handwritten notes and letters too, sometimes. And, the love Caitlin shares with her husband's students is something not just witnessed but praised by the people around them. 

Besides, Lincoln also feels the importance of being with her husband and to know about his business whereabouts to the point that she feels entitled to be granted permission from Lincoln to accompany him for their weekly press meeting.

Meanwhile, it's been nearly a decade since the Rileys left Texas and moved to Oklahoma. The family of four actually resides just a ten minutes walk from Lincolns's office, which makes it easier for Caitlin to visit her husband whenever she wants to.
