Alec Baldwin claims that he is not "culpable " for Halyna Hutchin's death. As per Alec, Rust's movie contract saves him from liability in the on-set tragic death of the cinematographer.

After the tragic event, the famous actor Alec Baldwin, last Friday, filed with JAMS an arbitration demand against producer Rust Movie Productions LLC and producer Ryan Smith. He claimed that his Rust Movie Production contract saved him financial responsibility against the death of Halyna Hutchins last October.

In his most detailed paperwork of the "Rust" shooting, Alec Baldwin and his lawyer insisted he had nothing to do with the cinematographer's death who was killed when a gun went off on the set.

The court demand obtained reads, "He didn't announce that the gun was 'cold' when it really contained a live round, he didn't load the gun, he didnt check the bullets in the gun, he didnt purchase the bullets,"

Adding, the arbitration stated, "he didn't make the bullets and represent that they were dummies, he wasn't in charge of firearm safety on the set he didn't hire the people who supplied the bullets or checked the gun."

"And he played no role in managing the movie's props. Each of these jobs was performed by someone else. This is a rare instance when the system broke down, and someone should be legally culpable for the tragic consequences. That person is not Alec Baldwin," the document continued.

Among the defendants in a wrongful death lawsuit by Hitchin's husband, Mathew Hutchins, Alec insisted on not being reckless on the set. Baldwin has previously named for holding a gun, killing Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza.

The arbitration demand read, "Immediately before the handoff to Baldwin, upon information and belief, Halls had taken the gun off a prop two cart after it had been loaded by the set's armors, Hannah Guiterrez Reed."

The 'Boss Baby' star pushed back reports that he had refused the weapons training on the set and told that he wasn't responsible for live-ammunition checks, which were found to contain a live round, nor did he have a role in hiring the film's armorer.

Alec blamed Hannah Guiterrez Reed and assistant director Dave Halls for not informing him that the weapons have live round suits and was not instructed that he needed to check the gun himself.

Further, Baldwin instead claimed that he trained with Reed. The authorities still have a criminal case investigation into the "Rust" shooting. Though Alec is listed as producer, he goes into detail to explain that he was not responsible.

All in all, the filing says that based on an email, he was unaware of the "Rust" production had at the time not hired an armor and was not involved in the hiring of armorer Hannah Guiterrez-Reed.
