The world is getting saddened by the news of the tragic death of one of the most prominent hosts in the United States, Jerry Springer at 79. The cause of his death is said to be pancreatic cancer.

Jerry Springer, the talk show host has died at 79. He is famous as a preside over the earning talk show which shares his name on the title. The body was found lifeless at his house in Chicago on Thursday. The reason behind Jerry's death was pancreatic cancer.

 A best friend and spokesperson for the family confirmed to PEOPLE, telling, "Jerry's ability to connect with people was at the heart of his success in everything he tried whether that was politics, broadcasting." " Or just joking with people on the street who wanted a photo or a word," he added. 

Not to mention, Variety published a statement from Jene Galvin that wrote," He's irreplaceable and his loss hurts immensely, but memories of his intellect, heart, and honor will live on." Upon nearing five years of age in January 1949, Springer and his family immigrated to the United States and settled in Kew Gardens, Queens, New York.

Growing up in a small apartment with his sister, Evelyn, Springer went on to earn a B.A. in political science from Tulane University in 1965. Later, the guy made himself a part of the civil rights and antiwar generation. In 1968, he obtained a J.D. degree from Northwestern University. Springer worked as a political campaign adviser for Robert F. Kennedy, as noted in a 1998 Slate profile by David Plotz.

Similarly, Jerry joined the law firm Frost & Jacobs (now Frost Brown Todd) after Kennedy's tragic assassination. Having been active in politics for a significant portion of his adult life, Springer considered a run for Ohio governor in 2017 as per CNN.

His political career began in 1968 as an aide in Robert F. Kennedy's ill-fated presidential campaign. Following an unsuccessful bid for Congress in 1970, he was elected to the Cincinnati city council in 1971. Although he resigned in 1974, Springer made a comeback by winning a council seat in 1975 and serving as the mayor in 1977.

Subsequently, he pursued a career in local television journalism, where he gained popularity for his evening commentaries on politics. In 1991, Springer started his talk show, which was initially ranked as the "Worst Show in the History of Television" by the US TV Guide, but eventually became a ratings hit.

Springer's success on the talk show catapulted him to celebrity status. He went on to host a liberal radio talk show, star in the movie Ringmaster, and compete in Dancing With the Stars. He also hosted America's Got Talent.
