People liked him as Detective Frank Pembleton on the NBC show Homicide: Life on the Street, and he even got an Emmy Award for it in 1998. He was also in other movies like Primal Fear, City of Angels, Frequency, and The Mist, and did voices for animated shows like BoJack Horseman and Scoob!

Deepest condolences to your wife and family in this difficult time. You showed me what a life well lived looks like."

And added "Rest In Peace, Andre. I love you, man."

Ryan Case, the director and editor of the US sitcom wrote on her social media

"It makes me feel better to gush about him. Several members of the crew once told me they’d never seen someone smile as much as me when I was discussing Sex and the City at length over a long lunch on an empty set with Andre. My cheeks actually hurt."
