Andrew Lloyd Webber Discloses His Son Nicholas Aged 43 Is Critically Ill

One of the legendary composers Andrew Lloyd shared the news of his eldest son, Nicholas. He is critically ill with stomach cancer.

Nicholas Webber who composed the music for productions like Timothy Spall's drama, The Last Bus, and music Fat Friends is critically ill with gastric cancer. He is the son of Webber Huggil and his ex-wife, Sarah Huggil who were together from 1971 to 1983.

 Not to mention, Andrew is staying behind his 43-year-old son, Nicholas' side after the reveal and the iconic impresario stated in his statement writing, "Absolutely devasted. As my friends and family know, he has been fighting gastric cancer for the last 18 months and Nick is now hospitalized." 

The Oscar winner composer Andrew Lloyd Webber has disclosed his son is critically ill and was taken to hospital with stomach cancer. A Grammy-nominated English composer has collaborated with his dad on a few occasions, like Smphonic Suites and Bad Cinderella in 2021.

For a long time, Nicholas dropped the Lloyd bit to check out what the reaction would be. He also had a view to hanging on if other people were prepared to work with him without the last name. He also revealed of having some radio stuff, so he thought"OK, I'm not a complete idiot. " 

"I, therefore have not been able to attend the recent previews of my new musical Bad Cinderella and as things stand, I will not be able to cheer on its wonderful cast, crew, and orchestra an opening night this Thursday. We are all praying that Nick will turn the corner," his son said.

Further, he continued"He is bravely fighting with his indomitable humor, but at the moment my place is with him and the family." Speaking of which, a Grammy-nominated composer, Nicholas has famously scored the movie BBC One Series Love, Lies, and Records.

In the years 2011 and 2012, Nicholas's created musical adaptation of The Little Prince got a chance to perform at the Lyric Belfast. The son of Webber and his wife has been focusing on his path for several years. As for his father, Webber's Bad Cinderella, the first Broadway venture since School of Rock concluded in 2019.

As per Sky, Webber discovered popularity thanks to his work in "The Phantom of The Opera."  The Tony-winning composer occupied the music, with a book by Academy Award-winning Emerald Fennell and lyrics by Tony and Oliver Award winner David Zippel with direction by Laurence Connor.
