In a recent Instagram post, the singer and TikTok star said, "I'm sorry if everyone believes I've been keeping it a secret. I will discuss my divorce when I am ready to speak about it." She continued by asking that their privacy, as well as her own and Tyler Poarch's, be respected.

The singer also disclosed that she would take a social media break. Bella indicated that her team would be taking over her social media accounts and publishing tasks that needed to be completed.

Many famous people, such as Poarch's musical partner Grimes, and other prominent figures, expressed their support for Poarch on social media.

Bella tied the knot with Tyler Poarch on January 20, 2019, a full year before she initially posted on the app that became her claim to fame. The singer and influencer, based in Los Angeles, submitted her divorce petition on November 2 after being married for almost four years.

As stated in the documents that PEOPLE could get, Poarch gave the customary "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the divorce. She also revealed that the pair did not have any children together and that Poarch does not want to pay spousal support nor receive any from her soon-to-be ex-husband.

On camera, the TikTok star only occasionally discussed her romantic relationships. One of the few opportunities was a guest appearance on the H3 Podcast in June last year.

In the program, the singer stated that she had not been in a relationship for a year, which leads one to believe that she and Tyler may have separated in 2020, which is a significant amount of time before she filed for divorce.

Dolls, Poarch's debut EP, was initially made available to the general public on August 12. The album has six songs, including Build a B****, her debut single. The song was previously made available to the general public in March of last year and received good reviews from reviewers. Later, three other singles named Inferno, Dolls, and Living Hell were released.
