Another beloved legend, Canadian-American Wrestler, And Randy Savage's Brother Lanny Poffo died. The cause of his death is not known at the time.

"Leaping"  Lanny Poffo, Brother of WWE Hall of Famer Randy Savage "Macho Man," passed away at 68. On February 2, the former WWE wrestler Jim Duggan shared the news that his friend had died on social media. The news of his passing came as to surprise to his friends and fans.

"With a very, very heavy heart, I've been asked to let everyone know about the passing of our friend and colleague, Lanny Poffo, The Genius. RIP Lanny," Duggan wrote on Twitter. At 58, after Macho Man died in 2011, you might be curious about Lanny Poffo's reason for his death.

The cause of death stays beneath the shadow at this time. The innumerable ex-colleagues posted their condolences over his death. Another  WWE wrestler, Virgil, captioned on Twitter," Lanny Poffo. The genius man. I am so sorry, brother. Love you and Randy more than you ever will know."

In 1985, Lanny became part of the World Wrestling Federation and became known as "Leaping Lanny Poffo." She quickly became equivalent with the sports 80s and 90s. He has the name "The Genius" in the ring when he dons a graduational cap and gown while battling other wrestlers.

Not to mention, Savage's fame wasn't limited to the wrestling fraternity. Throughout his journey, he starred in popular films and television series such as Spider-Man in 2002 and Baywatch. His Genius gimmick caught the eyes of many in the late 1980s.

To add more, Poffo joined his brother Randy in WWF in 1985. Though he could never contest, he was one of the all-time greats of the business. As per Daily Mail, the guy did square off against many of the biggest names Andre the Giant, The Ultimate Warrior, and Hulk Hogan.

The classic wrestler Lanny Poffo released his book of poems for children, "Limericks from Heart and Lungs!." When the WWE finally decided to induct Randy Savage into the Hall of Fame in 2015, he was on hand to place his older official.

It frequently appears that reports are surfacing about alleged health problems of ex-superstars or battles they're facing against certain illnesses. Notably, Poffo served as a commentator on the shows for the ROH organization from time to time and rarely as ringside support for wrestlers.
