She said that her husband had actually refused to inform their kids about their split. Shane Richie, her husband, had actually told his wife that he wasn’t able to do it. Hence, she had to step up to do the dirty job.

The 51 years old television presenter said so in a show and discussed further if divorce was detrimental on her children’s future life or not. She confessed that the fear of her kids not being successful due to divorce haunted her immensely.

Collen also said that passing the news to her children wasn’t easy since they hadn’t seen them arguing with each other after all. The time when they got divorced both of their kids were seven and four respectively.
