Heidi Klum Faced Backlash For Faking Pregnancy On April Fools Day Prank

When Heidi Klum announced a fake pregnancy on April Fool's Day, she was called out for her antics offensive and tone-deaf. She wore the prosthetic bump on her IG story.

Heidi Klum was seen wearing a prosthetic baby bump in a series of photos on social media. In recent years, people are aware of why pregnancy announcements don't work as a go-to-joke on April Fool's Day. Fertility issues are quite common as one in six Australian couples is struggling with infertility.

"Congratulations Heidi Klum. Co-workers Sofia Vergara and I are the first to know," Howie wrote in an IG post that has sparked outrage leaving many upset. She is now facing backlash after she posted an April Fools' Day prank on Instagram, with fans calling it tasteless and heartless. We all love a good old-fashioned April Fool's prank but when is a prank considered to be a bit too far?

The 49-year-old mum of four took the time to reveal to her fans she was pregnant for this year's April Fools', posing with her fellow America's Got Talent judges in the act on Instagram. During the detailed prank, co-actor Howie Mandel posted a picture of the Victoria's Secret Model with a growing bump.

While, Klum tagged the host and playfully stated, "Congratulations @heidklum. Co-workers, @sofiavergara and I are first to know." The glamor girl did eventually share a photo of Mandel sporting the prosthetic bump on her IG story.

However, it looks like the playful antic which was considered to be harmless and has to go wrong somewhat, as fans have angrily hit back at the German supermodel. In a particularly heartbreaking comment, an individual wrote," As who deal with infertility and 9 miscarriages before finally having my 3 kids."

On most Instagram, a person with one former fan wrote," this isn't funny for so many human beings." Another social media user stated, "Please don't joke about being pregnant. There are so many people out there that are trying to get pregnant and you are basically mocking them."

Sadly, this isn't the first time Heidi has disclosed Heidi has received disapproval from her customers in 2008, she took part in the annual Halloween party dressed as the Hindu goddess Kali. Following the snap that went viral. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time Klum has obtained criticism for her childish pranks. 

A lot of Hindus attacked the model for dressing as a religious figure who is worshipped globally. She didn't make an apology in public but she did try to brush off the offensive customers and even told the press at the event that it had been her helper's idea.
