Khloe Kardashian's Former Household Assistant Sued Her Over Underpaid Wages

The former household, Matthew Manhard assistant of Khloe Kardashian just hit her with a lawsuit. Khloe's attorney is calling the situation BS. She reportedly treated one of her former employees after he injured his knee and put him on the shelf. Now, the guy is taking her to court.

The former household, Matthew Manhard assistant of Khloe Kardashian just hit her with a lawsuit. Khloe's attorney is calling the situation BS. She reportedly treated one of her former employees after he injured his knee and put him on the shelf. Now, the guy is taking her to court. 

As per a lawsuit acquired by the famous outlet TMZ, Matthew said working for Khloe was very dreadful.  He stated that he had his job from January 2019 to November 2022. Manhard says she skirted paying him for extra hours, even though he worked regularly for 12-hour days.

"It's unfortunate to learn that a former employee has chosen this path. Matthew has been properly rated and compensated for his role," her attorney told. The former assistant states she kept him busy with his duty and that he couldn't take his legally essential breaks.

Not to miss, Khloe's legal spokesperson for Man hard's leave stated," Towards the end of his employment, he was on a leave of absence for an extended period of time, and the role eventually needed to be replaced. We will not tolerate false accusations and will prove that this is a frivolous lawsuit."

Further, Khloe's ex-assistant claims she kept him so occupied with work, he often doesn't take his legally required breaks. Both her company 'KhloMoney' and Khloe are being sued. He claims Khloe directly controlled his wages, hours, and working conditions.

In his statement, Matthew declares that KhloMoney's payroll practices and policies were intended to purposefully keep away from the amount of overtime and double-time earnings as mandatory by the California constitution. 

Also, Matthew's document read," Manhard has suffered both general and specific damages in the past and present and will continue to suffer such damages in the future for an unknown period of time. Manhard has also suffered and continues to suffer losses in earnings and other employment benefits, as well as a past and future non-economic injury." 

This allowed KhloMoney to illegally gain and profit from an unfair advantage over competitors who assembled with the law. Manhard alleges that at all times relevant to this Complaint was a non-exempt worker who was authorized to overtime wages.

When the guy was ready to return, Manhard claims Khloe terminated his employee on or about November 9, 2022. He was able to do the essential job duties with accommodation for his disorder. There hasn't particular amount requested for damages as per TMZ.
