Queer Eye Actor Tom Jackson Dead Of Battling Cancer At 63

Queer Eye actor, Tom Jackson dies at age of 63 after he lost his battle with a type of cancer, adenocarcinoma on March 3. He leaves behind Katie, a daughter who shared the screen alongside him on Queer Eye, grandsons, and two sisters

Tom Jackson who shot to fame after the hit Netflix show "Queer Eye" passed away at 63. He was loved for his respectful opinion of himself, saying 'you can't fix ugly. The series' official Instagram handle which posted about Tom's death reads," It's with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to members of our Queer Eye family. Rest in Peace, Tom Jackson."

The post also featured a picture of Jackson alongside the talented cast of Bobby Berk, Tan France, Karamo Brown, and Antoni Porowski. Soon, the announcement of death was filled with condolence from viewers and fans. Berk stated," Having a Redneck Margarita in your honor."

As per the online obituary, Mr. Jackson deceased following a battle with a type of cancer present in the lymph nodes which spread to the other parts of the body, adenocarcinoma. In the post, they acknowledged and thanked the medical personnel for helping the late Tom, during the final days of his life with comfort and treatment. 

The actor's family told they would never forget their beloved Tom. "He enjoyed the notoriety of appearing on Queer Eye," the family talked about their experience with one would listen!" As per PEOPLE, during the shoot of the episode, Tom told that he was still in love with his former wife, Abby. 

Speaking of his personal life, Tom who became a fan favorite on the show leaves behind Katie, a daughter who shared the screen alongside him on Queer Eye, grandsons, and two sisters. His memorial service is going to be held in Kennesaw, Georgia on March 12.

What's more, family members of Jackson urged fans to watch Jackson's episode of Queer Eye in his honor. Before getting recognition with the Queer Eye reboot in February 2018 titled ' You Can't Fix the Ugly', he had a job as a Georgia dump-truck driver.

One of the fans mourned  and shared the remembrance of Tom's starring on Queer Eye writing," Bu far one of the best episodes and deserving human being." His admirer's hearts were broken telling Tom was beautiful, inside out and upside down, when he  previously said 'You Cant fix Ugly.'
