She was just 14 years old when she debuted in in the telenovela Principessa. In 1986 when she turned 16 she got her first leading role in Yesenia, a historical telenovela. She earned more fame after she played lead role in the iconic Quinceañera. Till now she has starred in popular telenovelas like Dulce desafío, El privilegio de amar, Amor real, El Manantial and so on. Due to her huge success she is also titled as "telenovela queen".
